Aeron Alfrey is creating some awesome creepy art. Some of it you may have seen and not even known it. He has been published in multiple Books & various other print publications. The detail in his art is amazing I’ve always found that art with 1000 shades of grey can be just as vibrant & show even more contrast than the shards of rainbow bursting light exploding from a prism on a bright sunny day. To Really appreciate the current work in progress pictured to the left click on the image to see it enlarged, It’ll blow your mind.
I found this new piece seemed to have a werewolf element to it that is reminiscent of a previous work Aeron had published in Electric Ant #2, It features his depiction of the Nightmare Nazi Demons from An American Werewolf in London. It is also one of the few pieces done in color, although it was published in black and white. The Print is available in full color with a limited edition of 666.
If this wicked art has you begging for more you can see a lot more of Aeron Alfreys art on his blog The Mutated Skeleton & in the Exhibits From The Imaginary Museum gallery online. You might even be able to get your hands on some of the limited signed prints available only by directly contacting the artist on his blog.
If you happen to be making your way through Montreal, Quebec before March 28th you can even go see an original Cheshire Cat painting at the Canteen Art Shop + Gallery as part of Two Days Slow an Alice an Wonderland Showcase. You could go see the new movie, then go see the art inspired by the story, & maybe if you have a chance squeeze a tea party in there for a perfect night on the town. Now if only I had a plane ticket to Montreal.
