One Mans Trash is Another Mans Skull.

So finally heres another use for all the shiny scrap metal you throw out for the recycling man each week.  Indian artist Subodh Gupta created this masterpiece out of tin cans and metal kitchen utensils for the Frieze Art Fair in London back in 2008.

I don’t know about you, but this made me want to start eating a lot more soup. As I have always felt that I was letting go of something precious when I tossed those shiny silver perfectly shaped cylinders  in the recycling. Although I don’t think my scrap metal statue would ever look as good as this one.

The photo capture really did it here the boy in picture looks like he really wants to touch it but is afraid he might lose a digit!
